Video Visitation

At Lebanon Correctional Institution, video visitation is available seven (7) days weekly, from 7:30-10:30 AM, 12:00-3:00 PM, and 5:30-8:30 PM.  Visits are thirty (30) minutes in duration, but an additional thirty minutes can be scheduled if the kiosk is not scheduled immediately after your scheduled video visit.  Video visitation reservations must be made twenty-four (24) hours in advance and are subject to first-come, first-serve availability.

An approved visitor is defined as: a visitor that submitted an application for visitation, processing has been completed, and approval by institutional staff has taken place.  Any approved visitor may request a video visit.   Approved visitors must create an account and register with JPay. When family members register to have a video visit, they are prompted by JPay through a series of steps to achieve their visit. Video visits must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance of the time that they are requesting.

Video visitation kiosks are available to all general population inmates in their housing units.   Inmates in restrictive housing (segregation) are not permitted video visits.   All visitation rules and regulations for video visitation are the same as institutional visits.  Violation of visiting rules during video visitation might result in a loss of visiting privileges.    All video visits are monitored, recorded, and/or reviewed after the video visit session.  Video visitation is limited to only approved and tentatively approved visitors.  Video visits might be stopped if a violation of visiting rules is observed.

Approved visitors may visit www.jpay.com for additional information

Visiting hours are subject to change without notice. Please call the institution at 513-932-1211 to verify visiting hours before planning a visit. Visiting is closed on all State Holidays.

Vending Machines

No cash is allowed to be taken into the Visiting Room. Visitors can purchase a vending card in the front lobby. You will need a five dollar bill ($5.00) to purchase this card. Once purchased, you can load up to fifty dollars ($50.00) on your card, and the card is reloadable, and reusable.

Medical Impairments

If any visitor has any medical impairments where they cannot clear a metal detector, they will need a medical card or documentation from their physician stating why they are unable to clear the metal detector each time they visit. Examples include, hip or knee replacement or a pacemaker.

Personal Items

Cell phones, electronic devices, keys (other than your vehicle key) and other items not allowed in the institution need to be secured in your vehicle, or can be placed in one of the rented lockers. You will need two quarters in order to use the lockers.

“Temporary Change in Visiting Schedule at LeCI”

Lebanon Correctional Institution is set to undertake a major expansion project in the visit room. This expansion is scheduled to improve the visit experience for all involved and to increase the number of visits able to be held. With this project comes a temporary change in the visiting schedule. Effective July 1st, visitation will only be available on Sunday, Monday, Friday, and Saturday. This change is only temporary and will afford the opportunity for the expansion to be completed. It is projected that our facility will be able to resume the regular visiting schedule by June 2018.   At Lebanon Correctional Institution we promote visitation and encourage positive interaction between offenders and their loved ones. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as this project is completed.

Visiting hours are subject to change without notice. Please call the institution at 513-932-1211 to verify visiting hours before planning a visit. Visiting is closed on all State Holidays.

Visiting Guidelines

  • General population inmates are permitted visits based on their institutional number. Inmates whose institutional number ends in an odd number are permitted visitation on odd numbered calendar days.  Inmates whose institutional number ends in an even number are permitted visitation on even numbered calendar days.
  • Visiting is limited to a maximum of three approved (3) visitors per inmate at one time, including walking children, unless special arrangements have been made in advance.
  • All visitors under eighteen (18) years of age must be related to the offender being visited or accompanied by an approved visitor who is the child’s parent, legal guardian or guardian. Documentation naming the child’s custodial parent or guardian must be presented in the form of a birth certificate or custodial court order prior to the visit.
  • In cases where an offender’s child visits and a custodial parent or legal guardian does not accompany the child, a notarized Authorization for Minor Child Visitation Form (DRC4371) must be provided, specifying the name(s) of the guardian(s) listed on the approved visiting list who may bring the child to visit and permission for the child to be photographed and searched.
  • Each visiting session counts as a separate visit.
  • Visitors travelling greater than 200 miles one way may request two (2) visits on the same day. The visits shall count as the two (2) visits allowed per inmate each month.
  • Inmates housed in General Population and Security Control status will be permitted weekend visits, while inmates in Disciplinary Control Status are not authorized for weekend visitation.
  • For additional information about visitation, please click here

How to Make A Reservation:

Visiting reservations are required for all visiting sessions. Approved visitors may make a reservation up to 30 days in advance by emailing us at DRC.VisitationLeCI@odrc.state.oh.us and an officer will reply within 72 hours of receipt. This is the preferred method due to the high volume of phone calls. In the reservation email request, please provide: adult visitor(s) full first and last names; for minors under the age of 18 that are related to the inmate, please list their name and relationship.  For all other minor children, please list age only. Also include the inmate last name and inmate number; date and session you want to reserve. Example: Jane Doe + 2 minors (Tom - son and Sue - daughter) to see inmate Doe, #A111-111 on 11/15/16, at 12:15 p.m.

Approved visitors may also make a reservation by calling 513-932-4616.  The visiting reservation phone line is answered Monday through Friday between the hours of 12:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.  On Saturday and Sunday, the reservation phone line is answered between the hours of 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. The name, number, and relationship to the inmate must be provided at the time of making the reservation.

If you make a reservation and want to cancel, you will need to call three (3) days in advance, or you will be charged a visit for the following month.  A “No Show” is a reservation spot that someone else could have made.
