10 December OSP Assists With The Salvation Army's Toy Store Drive December 10, 2018 By ODRC Institutions, Ohio State Penitentiary (OSP) OSP, Salvation Army, Clothes, Toys, Toy Drive, Christmas 0 The Ohio State Penitentiary participated in the Salvation Army’s Toy Store Drive. The staff art OSP donated enough toys for 50 children who might not have received a Christmas gift due to financial hardships. The Salvation Army put’s new clothes and toys under the tree for one million children who usually have to go without Christmas gifts. Anonymous donors adopt these little "angels" in an expanding Christmas tradition that makes the season brighter for both the gift giver and receiver. The volunteers at the Salvation Army appreciate the donations and say that OSP is one of their biggest contributors in the area.
