OCSS Highlights

The Ohio Central School System’s cumulative enrollment figures for Fiscal Year (FY) 2016, totals 26,320 students. An additional 11,934 students enrolled in spring quarter continued enrollment into FY2016. A total of 38,254 participated in education programs.   

Students Certified by OCSS in FY2016:

·         ABLE/Literacy Certificates – 1,756

·         Pre-GED® Certificates – 2,135

·         GED® Diplomas – 906

·         Advanced Job Training (AJT) Certificates – 1,358

·         Apprenticeship Certificates – 701

·         Career Enhancement Certificates – 5,610

·         Career-Technical Education (CTE) Certificates – 1,080

·         Education Intensive Program Prison (EIPP) Certificates – 43

·         High School Diplomas – 30

·         Transitional Education Program (TEP) Certificates – 579

·         Tutors Trained and Certified – 993

 

OCSS is pleased to report that a total of 15,191 certificates were earned by OCSS students in FY2016.  The school system reported serving 29,957 children in the Reading Rooms located in ODRC visiting areas.
