OCSS Highlights

 

The Ohio Central School System’s cumulative enrollment figures for Fiscal Year (FY) 2017, totals 26,599 students. An additional 11,808 students enrolled in spring quarter continued enrollment into FY2018. A total of 38,407 participated in education programs.   

Students Certified by OCSS in FY2017:

·         ABLE/Literacy Certificates – 1,967

·         Pre-GED® Certificates – 2,531

·         GED® Diplomas – 1,376

·         Advanced Job Training (AJT) Certificates – 1,403

·         Apprenticeship Certificates – 587

·         Career Enhancement Certificates – 6,027

·         Career-Technical Education (CTE) Certificates – 1,229

·         Education Intensive Program Prison (EIPP) Certificates – 27

·         High School Diplomas – 23

·         Transitional Education Program (TEP) Certificates – 374

·         Tutors Trained and Certified – 953

 

OCSS is pleased to report that a total of 15,191 certificates were earned by OCSS students in FY2017.  The school system reported serving 20,548 children in the Reading Rooms located in ODRC visiting areas.
