6 October LMM Culinary Students Participate in “Taste of Cleveland” October 6, 2017 By ODRC Institutions, Northeast Reintegration Center (NERC) NERC, LMM Culinary Students, Taste of Cleveland, Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Food Banks 0 The Cleveland Browns and the Greater Cleveland Food Bank worked together to tackle hunger in Northeast Ohio at the 19th annual Taste of the Browns event. Many supporters attended this fund-raiser to honor The Greater Cleveland Food Banks’ commitment to feeding the less-fortunate in our community healthy meals. The guests enjoyed delicious tastings prepared by more than 25 restaurants and beverage purveyors, including eight residents of the Northeast Reintegration Center’s LMM Culinary Arts Program. “Having the opportunity to participate in an event of this magnitude provides us with job skills and experience that is rarely found in any prison setting anywhere and we are all beyond grateful to have been invited to participate,” said resident and program graduate Amanda Freed.
