16 May GCI Award Letter Recognition May 16, 2017 By ODRC Grafton Correctional Institution (GCI), Institutions GCI, Warden Eppinger, Sergeant Roberts, Working Animals Giving Service (WAGS), Step By Step Award, Service Dogs 0 Working Animals Giving Service (WAGS) for Kids has selected Warden Eppinger and Sgt. Ivan Roberts as the recipients for the Step By Step Award. This award is to honor those who have supported the WAGS 4 Kids and its first steps in success. They are those who were involved early on and continue to be with us, as W.A.G.S. expands to support the growing need and availability of Service Dogs for our local children with the Accredited Apprenticeship Programming and Workforce Development Initiatives of the ODRC. Award recipients will be honored, along with business leaders and other notables at the Annual WAGSinCLE Gala event. WAGS 4 Kids is a federal 501 (c)(3) charity, dedicated to providing certified Mobility and Autism Spectrum service animals to children with mobility disabilities, life crisis medical conditions and mental health issues in Ohio. Our work is funded through the generous support of individuals, civic groups, corporations, foundations and a long history of partnership with the ODRC.
